BRITAIN IN BLOOM LAUNCH NIGHT 2008

Our launch night on 22 rd February was very well attended. The Yorkshire in Bloom DVD filmed last summer was shown an Roger Blunett chairman of Britain in Bloom gave an interesting and encouraging talk. Many people volunteered for various jobs throughout the year, although more help is always needed . Ross from Brookside Nurseries showed us a large range of potatoes both organic and heritage varieties and will inspire us for the international year of the potato. At our show in August their will be classes for special potatoes and potato printing for children.
