Starbeck’s own Village Show

This years show was the best ever! This is the eighth year of Starbeck in Bloom organizing a Fruit Flower and Produce Show and this year we had record entries and record attendances. The Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate opened the show at 11am and welcomed the crowd of people waiting to see the judging of the many classes of produce . Jonathan Wild chairman of Taylors of Harrogate had assisted with the judging of the Tealoaf cake and announced the trophy winners .The children had their own activity corner making Bugs out of recycled rubbish and the Starbeck School gardening club were there to show off their own produce from their new allotment .With plenty of displays to look at and free flowing teas,coffees and biscuits everyone was happy !
