New Drought tolerant beds
Construction and planting of two new drought beds in Prospect Park sponsored jointly by Yorkshire water and Starbeck in Bloom. Work carried out by Starbeck in Bloom volunteers with assistance from Harrogate Bc.
New planter Forest Lane
The Boy Scouts of the 23rd Harrogate (Hookstone) Boy scouts built and planted a new planter on the mini roundabout on Forest Lane.
Taylors of Harrogate
Work parties from Taylor's often come out to help us with various projects like painting of the Cenotaph railings and street cleaning and washing of street furniture.
Brownies
Three local packs of Brownies joined us this year for a joint litter pick & picnic set off by the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate.
Tidy Gardens
Tidy gardens have helped with numerous projects this year including painting of a fence and spreading of wood chipping under the hedge along spa lane.
Tree Planting Projects
We were lucky to receive a grant from the Woodland trust for £ 360 to plant a tree belt in Belmont Park.Vocational Skills and E2E helped plant trees last December, then home grown trees were planted by the cubs in Cats Field and daffodils.
